The people who make us amazing

The Hammerheads take our duties very seriously and all training sessions are lead by BWBA trained coaches, we also have non coaching staff providing any support that may be needed. All staff are qualified fist aiders and hold an Enhanced DBS.

Coach Andy Atkinson

The Harrogate Hammerheads wouldn’t be where it is today without coach Andy who helped found our team, he oversees our lesson strategies and planning, he has many years experience within wheelchair sports circles and has shown our committee the ropes.

Coach Gary Atkinson

Coach Gary has been with us since the very beginning and as our lead coach, plans training sessions, instructs and mentors our players, offering professional and quality guidance. He has lots of experience with playing team wheelchair sports and is constantly developing his skills to ensure we offer a high standard during our times together.
